Posts at Patterico's Pontifications are more complete than anything needed here. But I have a question or two. Suppose, as now, absent any written expressions of her wishes, her husband (HINO) told the Judge(JINO) "Terri didn't want to live like this, she wanted to be lethally injected". Would the court have gone along? Or suppose her brain condition were worse, yet she could eat, chew, swallow, drink, but her hands didn't work, and someone had to hold the spoon. Would the Judge(JINO) have ordered them to stop feeding her?
I dare someone to try and convince me. No invective please.
