Where have the desert militia gone? Vanished into the Sonoran? The Painted Desert? Petrified in the Petrified Forest? Taken by aliens?
Our lightly armed local opinionistas at Citizens for a Safer Minnesota want to abduct our reason with hovering paranoia and blinking-lights fantasy. Maybe disruptor rays beamed by local aliens have corrupted their thinking.
Of course those stories about hovering UFO's and craft with blinking lights in are stark invention. Everyone knows that. And those plugged Mexicans? Just made up. Everyone knows that too.
