Judge Alito, the Discreet

Just once during the hearings for Judge Alito I wanted him to answer like this:

To Senator Biden, “Could you repeat the question please?”

To any of Senator Schumer’s questions, “Yes.” Or, ....“No.”

And to Senator Kennedy, asking how Judge Alito will decide his position on some future question before him, “Well Senator, I’ll drive off that bridge when I get to it.”
