Charlton Heston tells the story, well told, (I don't remember where I saw or heard it) about his liberal neighbors. Rioters in Los Angeles, the Rodney King riots. Crowds began getting closer to his liberal friends' houses. He gets a phone call. "Uh, Chuck, you have guns, don't you?"
"Uh huh."
"Do you suppose we could maybe...?"
