"What then?"

A poem from Yeats:Parnell came down the road,He said to a cheering man,"Ireland will get her freedom And you still break stone."Dear Dhims, suppose you win, sweep breathlessly away all opponents before you. Pilosi elevated to Cardinal, Murtha to Reichsminister der Gassbags, Charlie Rangel to Chancellor of the Exchequer, Harry Reid to His Highness of Pompousness et. al. Will the problems of the world miraculously dissolve? John Kerry will be loved by the Salafists and Wahabis, they will grovel and prostrate themselves before his wisdom, kiss his ring and vow eternal hostility to the forces of tyranny? His Jabba the Hutness, Teddy the Self-bloated will preach love of the young, naked nubile in the Hate Madrasses of Pakistan and host Teen Idol, starting new careers for hundreds of idle Jihad wannabees? With themselves in power, who will they blame? Might they succumb to any fresh ideas then?

If the Dhims prevail, they deserve to be remembered in American history as the Great Quitters, the Party of Make-Believe, No Guts-No Faith-No Courage, the Party of “America Can’t Do It, Follow Us.”
